Meet Nichola – a transformative force in women's wellness who brings 30 years of senior nursing expertise to her role as a sober coach and holistic transformation specialist. Her unique approach bridges the gap between clinical excellence and holistic healing, born from both professional mastery and profound personal experience.
As an AHPRA registered nurse of 30 years, with 15 years of complex mental health and addiction expertise, Nichola understands the intricate dance between stress, hormones, and alcohol that many midlife women face. Which lead to her own journey through burnout and transformation during the pandemic – including running weekly half-marathons and embracing sobriety 4.5 years ago , leading to her infusing her work with authentic understanding and deep compassion.
Today, Nichola specialises in guiding women aged 35-60 who are questioning their relationship with alcohol and seeking vibrant, sustainable change. She brings an impressive toolkit to support this transformation: certified and accredited in Sober, Health and Wellness Coaching, EFT, NLP, Hypnosis, and Trauma-Informed practices, alongside specialised training in Tranic, Vinyasa, and Menopause Yoga. This powerful combination of modalities allows her to address both the physical and emotional aspects of breaking free from gray area drinking.
Her approach is particularly unique in understanding the midlife woman's journey – from hormonal changes to life transitions – and how these intersect with stress and alcohol use. My transformation began when I finally understood how deeply my emotions were driving my life choices. This awareness became the key that unlocked a profound shift in my mindset, revealing strength and resilience I didn't know I possessed.
When I stopped using alcohol to numb my emotional world, everything changed. This awakening ignited a passionate journey into healing and personal development that would transform not just my life, but my entire approach to wellbeing.
I discovered that drinking had been a veil, masking deeper emotional struggles. This revelation led me to immerse myself in studying mental health Diploma, where I uncovered the transformative power of the power of mind and I then went on to discover

I’m Nichola.
I’m a Geordie lass from the North East UK who after six years nursing in oncology knew this life was no dress rehersal..This lead to emigrating to Australia with my then-fiancé in 2001.
I’m a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience and an accredited health, addiction, and mindset coach.
I'm married to my husband I met when I was 19 and have two teenage boys , ages 16 and 17.
I am heartfelt, empathetic, and determind, always having a passion for health, running countless half marathoins abd two full marathons.
Over the years, I’ve seen how unhealthy choices can really impact both our minds and bodies. In my career, I’ve worked with people struggling with complex health issues, mental health challenges, and addictions for the past 15 years, and after going through my own burnout, I started looking for different ways to calm my mind and body. That’s when I became really interested in how our minds body and souls are connected and how powerful that connection can be.
In 2020, at 47, I found myself overwhelmed by anxiety, guilt, grief, and stress and turned to drinking too much wine and excessive exercise to cope.
Little did I know, I was also in perimenopause, which I now understand only exacerbated my symptoms.
Thankfully I had insight into my mindset and turned my life around with resilience and strength.
This experience fueled my passion to help others.
I now support others using a unique approach in the somatic modalities, postive psychology strength based coaching, as well as neuro-linguistic programming and hypnosis.Accessing the power of the unconscious mind to discover limitations and beliefs that impact our choices, patterns, habits, and life.
Over the past five years, I’ve trained in various modalities and developed skills in mindset, positive psychology, embodiment, as well as emotional release techniques, tapping, and yoga specifically for the stages of menopause.
Through my own journey of healing and self-discovery,
I have developed a unique approach to supporting women

My story

Originally from the North East of the UK, I immigrated to Australia in 2001.
As a nurse, I spent years helping others navigate complex health challenges.
Yet, perimenopause snuck up on me in 2020, and I was sideswiped. The irony wasn’t lost on me – the very tools I used to help others were failing me. Little did I know, running a half marathon every week and drinking too much wine were actually escalating my inflamed nervous system. It was a wake-up call.
Life threw some curveballs, leading to burnout. I was juggling the physical demands of a busy life along with compounding emotions, including guilt, grief, sadness, and high-functioning anxiety. I was caught in the "busy woman syndrome," caring for others while neglecting myself.
Working as a nurse during the pandemic. Unable to fly home, I juggled multiple roles, and my stress skyrocketed.
I ended up suffering from high-functioning anxiety, with palpitations, insomnia, and living on 2-3 broken hours of sleep. I was emotionally disoriented and basically numb, but I had no idea how deeply I was affected.
My dad was palliative on the other side of the world, and I knew I’d never be able to fly back to see him. I was devastated and realized I had to take radical action as grief approached. The first step I took was quitting alcohol, as I recognized it was exacerbating my anxiety.
I quit on June 14, 2020. Although I didn’t know how long I would abstain (I had done three months once before, but it was hard), I embraced new tools to soothe my nervous system and immersed myself in mental health education, self-development, and coaching.
This personal transformation ignited a fire within me and began my journey of healing, personal development, and education.
I knew drinking alcohol, had been masking so much, and started studying mental health, took up gardening (where I discovered grounding in nature), and went on to certify as a tantric yoga teacher.
More recently, I became certified in menopause coaching, among other coaching certificates and embodiment training.
I use Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to release emotions stuck in the body, along with mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork, combined with powerful coaching.
That’s why I’m here. For the past 4.5 years, I have researched, studied, and successfully supported hundreds of women.
I’ve now formulated a unique Mind-Body-Soul method to tap into the unconscious mind with NLP and hypnosis to get to the roots of our beliefs and emotions that are atfen limiting us.
I empower women like you with the tools to navigate this transition through healthy lifestyles and evidence based education.

Fun things about me!
I've been obessed with health and fittest since 13, ran countless 1/2 marathons and 2 full marathon
I'm a Tantric-trained yoga teacher and certified in teaching menopause yoga. I'm also obsessed with our body's energies and chakra system
I'm from the North East UK, and I've always hated my Geordie accent
(Blame Geordie Shore)
but I'm now embracing it these days .
I've never set an alarm clock for four years, always wake up naturally before 5am.
Sunrises, antiques, art and photography, are my passion .
